About me

Bhushan is a young promising “ Tabla Player” of his generation, he belongs to an artist family known for music and fine Art.

Bhushan started learning tabla at the age of 6th from Shri Shruti Sunder Sir of Farukhabad Gharana, he continued the training with the same guru till the age of 15. In the year of 1998 he joined the “USTAD ALLARAKHA SCHOOL” with the vigorous riyaaz under the ever watchful eyes of his guru. Abbaji have made him progress in to a very promising upcoming artist.

After his demise Bhushan continue his training under Ustad Zakir Hussain. He has received traditional training of fourteen years from these Maestros. He has received National Scholarship from Government of India (cultural dept.). He is a graded artist of A.I.R. and also Sangeet Alankar of Gandharva Mahavidyalaya besides he is commerce graduate of Mumbai university.

 

For the last eight years he has been teaching in Fine Arts Society in Chembur as a “Tabla Teacher”. He has performed with known artists like:
