About me

Ojas,Child prodigy in Music, born in Chikhli, district at buldhana,Maharashtra state. His father spotted his childs keen interest in percussion at tender age of 2years.

Recognizing the boy's talent,Ojas's father put him under the care of Shri Kal- yanji Anandji Music maestros.Ojas at the age of 5 was sent through Shri Ka- lyanji bhai to one of his close family friend Shri Mridangraj ji,for Ojas to learn traditional niceties of tabla playing including accompaniments, thus Ojas bec- ame the Gandaa Bandh Shaagird-Disciple of Shri Mridangraj ji at the age of 5. And since then till now he is being trained, shaped and honed for almost 15 years in tabla playing.

Ojas's father decided that he would one day do well in tabla playing and would accompany in future all the top notchers in time to come including solo perfor- mance but fate, however, disposed otherwise, for he left this world when Ojas wa- s barely 9 years. His Mother,in time,to honour the wishes of her husband,persu- aded Ojas to the study of the 'tabla'.
