Suyog
Kundalkar - Indian Classical Instrumentalist Suyog Kundalkar is one of the most sought-after harmonium players in India. He took his early training in harmonium from Smt. Ranjana Godse. Since 1997, he has been a devoted student of the renowned harmonium soloist and accompanist, Dr.Arawind Thatte, under whom he is receiving specialized training for solo performance. Also a keen student of classical vocal music, Suyog has undertaken lessons in singing from Smt. Lalitabai Khadilkar and Shri. Suhas Datar.
At a very young age, Suyog achieved a distinct identity as a harmonium accompanist. In 2000, he was felicitated with the "Rasikagrani Dattopant Deshpande Puraskar" which is an award for upcoming promising artists. Suyog is a regular accompanist at the Sawai Gandharva Music Festival in Pune. He has accompanied Maestros of Indian music, like Dr. Gangubai Hangal , Pt. Balasaheb Poochwale , Pt. Yashwantbua Joshi ,Ganasaraswati Kishori Amonkar , Dr. Prabha Atre , Smt.Vasundhara Komkali , Smt. Malini Rajurkar , Smt. Veena Sahasrabuddhe , Pt. Ulhas Kashalkar , Smt.Padma Talwalkar , Ustad Rashid Khan , Dr. Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande , Smt. Arati Ankalikar-Tikekar and many others.
Suyog has performed in several prestigious music concerts abroad, in Switzerland, UK, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, UAE and Russia.
Suyog is a graded artist of the All India Radio and Doordarshan. He holds a bachelor's degree in music from "Lalit Kala Kendra", University of Pune.
